49992372 - heart shape making of hands against bright sea sunset and sunny golden way at water

We extend a helping hand and Aloha to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, those in the path of Hurricanes Irma, Katia, Jose, everyone impacted by the earthquake in Mexico, and the people of South Asia recently devastated by heavy monsoon rains.

Help any way that you can, be prepared, and be safe. Check out this month’s newsletter for information on how to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

I am a visual storyteller with roots that run south and past the equator. I moved to the Big Island from North Carolina in 2012, and with me, I brought my diverse background; I am a first generation American, born in Illinois from Venezuelan parents, and grew up in Kentucky. My life and career have grown my creativity, much like a Big Island lava flow. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis on graphic design, from Eastern Kentucky University. I am an award-winning graphic designer with over 20 years experience in marketing and communications, and my successful career has ventured in a wide-variety of industries. Curiosity is not my middle name, but it should be. In my spare time, I enjoy living life through the eyes and mind of a spunky, young daughter; a crew of crazy, loving animals; and a super, supportive partner. The outdoors is my haven – exploring, adventuring, and photographing. I deeply value the importance of the connection that individuals, families, and communities have with nature as a global and universal society. “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.” ― Marcel Proust
