Molly Harris, R(S)
Molly Harris enjoys sharing her love of the Big Island to help buyers find their dream home in Hawai’i. On a short business trip to the Big Island in 1996, she decided to make this majestic place her home – permanently – and tore up her return flight ticket! The Big Island’s natural charm and spirit of aloha captured her heart, as it does so many, and sharing that love of this special place is what makes her work as a real estate agent so rewarding.
Molly’s first lessons in real estate (and golf) were at her father's business in Miami, Florida at the famous Doral Country Club and Estates, and at the prestigious Palm Beach Golf Club, Old Marsh. As a result of her father’s guiding hand, she earned an 8 handicap and was set on a course for life as a Realtor.
As a real estate and hospitality industry veteran for over 20 years, Molly has represented developers, buyers and sellers in Costa Rica at the prestigious Four Seasons Resort at Peninsula Papagayo, and established her own brokerage there representing oceanfront homes and luxury hotel/resort developments… but her love for Hawai’i remained. In 2011, she knew it was time to return to the home of her heart and joined the MacArthur Sotheby’s International Realty ohana, the #1 luxury real estate agency on the Big Island.
HGTV shows "Live Here, Buy This" and "House Hunters International" have featured Molly promoting luxury homes and showing buyers the best of the best. She is currently in development on new shows featuring outstanding Big Island properties.
Molly Harris is active in various non-profit organizations and sits on the board of The Mango Foundation working to fund medical care in Hawai’i and in Africa. She graduated from the University of Hawai’i and has been a licensed realtor in Hawai’i for more than a decade. Molly enjoys spending time with her family and pets, playing golf, good food and good wine, fitness and Hawaii's beautiful beaches – living the life of aloha!
